Mark Lunt joined CommSoft Group Limited as Group Managing Director in April 2001.
“Mark’s background in international software marketing is precisely what CommSoft needs,” says CommSoft Chairman, Greg Gardiner. “He has experience in managing large and geographically dispersed organisations and over his career has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to grow organisations, develop markets and manage businesses profitably.”
Mark joins the company from Gen-i Limited (New Zealand’s leading internet integration company with over 400 staff and revenues in excess of NZ$100 million) where he was Chairman.
Prior to that he was the Managing Director of Countrywide Independent Advisers Limited – a UK company with 400 staff and sales of about £200 million. He has held a number of roles with IT companies in the UK and New Zealand over the past 20 years, primarily in sales and marketing
Gregor is the Chief Financial Officer of CommSoft Group Limited.
Gregor has more than 12 years financial experience, and particularly enjoys the challenges of start-up companies, as is evidenced by his last two roles. Gregor was previously with NewCall Communications, a telecommunications company, and was NewCall’s first employee, playing an integral role from its inception in August 1997 through to the time it successfully listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange in August 1999. Before his time with NewCall, Gregor worked for two years as Chief Financial Officer in one of Motorola’s Moscow operations. Gregor worked for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for eight years, in a variety of roles, including two years in Hong Kong performing merger/acquisition, special investigations work and valuation services. In his final year at Deloittes, Gregor provided the same services back in New Zealand, with the addition of strategic planning.
Gregor joined CommSoft in February 2000.
The Board is comprised of five directors Greg Gardiner, Don Cowie, Geoff Wilding, Phil Norman and Mark Lunt. Gregor Duncan is covering Company Secretary tasks presently.
